Cheapest way to move from St. Louis, MO to Palm Harbor, FL aprox 1000 miles.?

U-Haul is about $800 for the truck (plus gas) and a tow trailer is $300. Is this the cheapest way or are their other Truck Rental places that have cheaper rates?

That’s fairly cheap these days. Do you have a vehicle capable of towing a trailer large enough to haul all your goodies?

Maybe a yard sale and buy new in Florida.

An alturitive could be: http://www.pods.com/ They drop a storage container, you pack it as you wish and it’s delivered to your new home. That’s hard to beat, no clumsy movers or driving a big truck through those large towns, like Atlanta.

Where can I get a one-way trailer rental BESIDES U-Haul?
