Cheapest Rental Vehicle For Moving?
I’m moving one-way from San Diego, California to Tifton, Georgia. It’s just me, my daughter and puppy. We are looking for the cheapest rental car/truck/minivan/cargo-van to get us there. We have a few things to take with us; twin mattress, tv, pictures, etc… Anybody got any ideas?

my truck has been in the shop a week with a warranty repair – should i get a rental from them?!?
My 08 Colorado has been in the shop for a week having major warranty work done. I asked the dealership if they have loaner cars and they said GM pulled them last year…. shouldn’t they offer me a cheap rental car or SOMETHING!? It’s the same dealership repairing it as I bought it from… one would think they would pick up the tab?! let me know please if I should push for one?!
Personally, I’d make a fuss and get them to provide a loaner or a cheap rental. Before confronting the dealership, call a couple of other Chevy dealers in the area and ask if they provide loaners for repairs. If one does, just mention that to your dealer, "Dealership XXXXXX provides loaners. Would you prefer I take my business to them next time?"
Ask to speak to the Dealership Manager if you don’t get anywhere with the Service manager. Be polite and honest. If you yell and scream they’re likely to not give you anything.
